PRESCHOOL SWIM LESSONS: AGES 3-5
This is a child’s first experience in the pool without parental assistance. Children are taught the basic skills that are the building blocks of swimming. They also learn about pool safety and the use of personal floatation devices. Class ratio is four participants to one instructor.
PRESCHOOL STAGE 1
This class leads your child in their first steps toward independence in the water. To swim with their face in the water and become more comfortable on their back. Instructors creatively teach beginning swim and safety skills, in a caring and safe environment without the parent/guardian.

PRESCHOOL STAGE 2
This class for preschoolers, instructors teach your child forward movement in water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently This level is for those of preschool age that are able to jump in and return to the wall unassisted and swim 5 feet.

PRESCHOOL STAGE 3
This advanced class for preschoolers, instructors teach your child intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages. This is level is for those of preschool age that are able to swim 10-15 feet

PRESCHOOL HOCKEY
NOVEMBER 5-DECEMBER 3
Coach Jason Hutchinson (PE teacher for Monroe Public Schools) will instruct young athletes on the game of hockey. The class will consist of learning the fundamentals of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship.
