The Monroe Family YMCA is competing in the 2026 Philanthropy Playoffs through the Community Foundation of Monroe County!
From September 10 through October 22, local teams are competing to raise awareness and support for causes throughout Monroe County. Teams earn points through donations, ticket sales, social media, challenges and more.
This year, #TeamYMCA is playing for our Anti-Hunger Initiatives!
What We’re Playing For
At the Monroe Family YMCA, we’re working to strengthen food security across Monroe County by helping children, families, seniors and individuals access nutritious food.
Through meal programs, food distributions, nutrition resources and community partnerships, our Anti-Hunger Initiatives help bring food closer to where people live, learn and gather, especially in rural and underserved communities.
Funds earned through the Philanthropy Playoffs will help us invest in equipment, storage, transportation and other resources needed to safely receive, prepare, store and distribute food throughout Monroe County.

Teams, fans and community members will come together for one final night of friendly competition, food, games, team spirit and more.
